The most successful communications in the corporate and public sectors are succinct, clear and focused. Most importantly they express the feel of an organisation. These communications don’t happen by chance, they grow out of long experience, expertise and hard work.
I work in close partnership with my clients, taking time to really listen to what they need and to ensure the materials we develop together express sophisticated ideas in an active, engaging and effective way.
I set up Transwrite in 2003, after many years of freelance writing work, to provide a range of tailored writing and editing services to a great variety of consultancies and public sector and corporate clients. I have written and edited:
- newspaper and magazine articles
- guides, packs and newsletters
- speeches and presentations
- case studies and thought pieces
- audio and video scripts
- many one off projects…
I have contributed significantly to a book on change management in the public sector and I was lead writer on ‘The Mind’, an award winning government interactive training tool for headteachers. Over the years I have written for businesses, PR and marketing companies, newspapers and magazines.
I have written extensively about major change management projects and government initiatives, as well as writing many human interest stories, health and wellbeing pieces, publicity articles by-lined by senior staff in a wealth of organisations. etc. I have also written a number of novels and work as a Journey Practitioner, helping people recover from trauma.
